A no-result is a match that started but could not produce a winner, usually because of weather and a minimum-overs rule that was not met.

The league decides how points are shared. Write "no result" and the reason on the scorecard.

Questions scorers actually ask

01 Do both sides get points for a no-result?
Usually one point each, but this depends on the competition.
02 What is the difference between a tie and a no-result?
A tie means both sides finished level. A no-result means no winner could be decided.
