A tie is a finish with both sides on the same score, under the playing conditions. Some competitions then play a super over; others share the points.

Write "tied" and the rule used to decide it.

Questions scorers actually ask

01 Is a tie the same as a draw?
No. A tie is a finish with equal scores. A draw is a Test outcome with no winner when time runs out.
02 What happens after a tie?
Whatever the playing conditions say: a super over, a count-back, or shared points.
